*What
is currently known as the Hittie's Sugar Camp was originally
built by John Lepley in 1920 two miles away on the Mudd
Pike. Lepley owned and operated it until he sold the Lepley
Farm in 1939 to Raymond Mankamyer. Today Blaine Hittie and
his son Chip, operate the camp with the help of Chuck Heiple,
Dwayne Hittle, Buddy Foor, Gary Meager, his son Gary Jr. and
John Pribelsky -
