*The Packsaddle Covered Bridge
was originally constructed in 1870 by an unknown builder.
The Pack Saddle Covered Bridge is an example of a king post
style truss. The bridge was rehabilitated in 1950.
On January 19, 1996 the bridge was heavily damaged by flood
waters. It is located over Brush Creek Southeast of Berlin
about 10 miles (just east of Jonesburg) on Fairhope Rd. -

Berlin is a borough in
Somerset County, Pennsylvania, United States, and was laid out in 1784
and incorporated on February 7, 1833. The population was 2,192 at the
2000 census. The town is famous for Snyder of Berlin potato chips, and
was home to the Berlin Fife and Drum Corps, one of the oldest such
establishments in North America. It is part of the Johnstown,
Pennsylvania Metropolitan Statistical Area.
